Abstract

This study aims to optimize the role of the Special Service Unit (ULK) in supporting students' learning needs in schools through policy analysis, implementation practices, and their impact on the learning process. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies in several schools that have active ULK. The results of the study indicate that ULK has a significant contribution in mapping individual student needs, providing intervention services, and collaborating with teachers and parents, although there are still challenges in terms of resources and coordination. The novelty of this study lies in the strategic mapping of ULK functions as a whole in the context of inclusive schools. This study contributes to providing practical recommendations for the development of educational policies and the implementation of ULK services that are more effective and responsive to student needs.
